International Air Cadet Exchange (Singapore) 2010 Programme Summary
29 May - 13 June

Hello Air Cadet Officers,

Here is the summary of the IACE Singapore 2010 programme for your reference. Please note the manpower and attire needed for each day. Manpower IC C/OFFR Li Wee will be contacting you 24 to 48 hours in advance should we need to call you down, you will be required to respond as soon as possible, whether you can or cannot make it. This applies to those who have signed up during the last Air General Meeting only.

I will be posting updates once the programme starts, so please check back on this blog for more information. Any changes to manpower requirements will also be posted on this blog, which will be our primary tool to disseminate information during the 2-week programme.

We are desperately in need of people for homestay. If you are able to host 1 or 2 cadets in your home from the 5th to 6th of June, please contact me at 92215523 as soon as possible. Till now, only 3 or 4 of you have signed up for homestay, which means we would probably have to put the rest of them in a chalet, defeating the purpose of the homestay programme.

Here are the details for the Air Specialist Course Revision

Manpower will be greatly needed for this event as there will be alot of cadets coming down on this date, including other cadets from other districts. Cadet Officers who are going for Specialist Course are required to be down for this event. LOAs will be given.

Do take note that for trainfire, the M16 Rifle will be used instead of the SAR21.

Air Specialist Course Revision

There will be a Specialist Course revision for ALL air cadets on the 27th of May 2010. They will be revising on their Trainfire and IFC skills prior to their Specialist Course. Hence, Manpower is needed for this event.

Cadet Officers who are helping out in the Specialist Course, kindly make yourself available on this date as you are required to be down for this event.

Accomodation Cleanup

10am - 1pm

Hello Cadet Officers,

All involved in IACE Singapore 2010 are required to come down this Saturday to assist in cleaning up the accomodation blocks behind the MPH in preparation for the event. Please meet in district office at 10am sharp and bring along a set of casual attire, e.g. T-shirt and shorts, as cleaning up in jeans may be uncomfortable for you. Any important updates will be announced this Saturday.

Whether you are involved for 2 days only, or the entire programme, you will be doing everyone a service by helping out. And of course, those not involved in IACE Singapore 2010 at all are more than welcome to come down as well.
